The Hôtel Résidence l’Edelweiss is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Article 47 of French law n°2005-102 of 11 February 2005.
Compliance status: this site is currently in partial compliance with the French General Accessibility Improvement Framework (RGAA), pending a certified audit.
What has been fixed (manual review of 2026-07-25)
- Added a skip link (“skip to content”) at the start of each page.
- Added a title to the Google Maps embed on the contact page.
- Removed an invalid automatic redirect on the 404 error page, which had made that page effectively invisible.
- Fixed the alternative text of the logo image in the footer.
- Fixed the accessibility pattern used for the customer review star ratings.
- Fixed invalid accessibility roles on the language menu.
- Translated several accessibility labels that were previously hardcoded in French across the site’s other 7 languages (menu, close menu, quick actions, image navigation, photo gallery).
- Fixed the heading hierarchy on the contact page.
- The homepage’s main heading is now present as soon as the page loads.
- Basic keyboard focus management on the seasonal closure modal window.
- Explicit association between contact form fields and their labels, across all 8 site languages.
- The language and reading direction of each page are now derived from the site configuration.
What remains known and unfixed
- Color contrast: several elements have insufficient contrast. This is being handled separately, as it affects the site’s visual design.
- Thaïs booking engine: a third-party platform outside the scope of this site.
- Criteria requiring human judgment or testing with real assistive technologies are not covered by this manual review.
This statement was last updated on 25 July 2026. It will be updated again once a certified RGAA audit has been conducted.
